As the first county museum to be selected as the national A-level museum, Qingzhou museum has everything we expect to see including calligraphy, ceramics, paintings, bronze and stone sculptures, etc.
It is famous for its countless ancient collections and rich historical backgrounds. During the Northern and Southern Dynasties, Buddhism became so popular that even civilians started to make sculptures about Buddha themselves. In Qingzhou museum, you are still able to see those well-preserved sculptures dated back to thousands of years ago.
Another treasure of this museum is a piece of jade from Han Dynasty. The reason why this piece of jade is so special is that it is a tricolor jade with three colors blended with each other perfectly.
