The famous Lufang Battle against the Japanese Army took place in Feicheng, Tai’an in 1939. Fully surrounded by 5000 Japanese soldiers, the 115th division of China’s Eight Route Army successfully broke through with only 3000 men. At the entrance of the Feicheng Martyrs Cemetery, you can see the Lufang Battle Monument, which commemorates the brave soldiers who, through blood, sweat, and tears, emerged victorious in this crucial battle.
