The Jufeng Peak is 1,132.7 meters above sea level and is the highest peak of any mountain on the 18,000 kilometers coastline of mainland China. It has been known as the “No. 1 Famous Mountain on the Sea” since ancient times! Ascending the incredible peak, you can witness the majesty of the scenery at every step and feel the magnificence of the vast mountains.
Standing at the foot of the mountain and looking up at the seemingly endless sky, you may feel a bit overwhelmed when gazing upon the impressive slopes of Mt. Lao. Firmly taking the first stride, you can’t help but secretly be proud of your own courage.
En route to Jufeng Peak, there are towering summits, bottomless canyons, and an endless stream of peculiar rock formations. History and culture are also integrated into the natural scenery, with important cultural figures from history climbing the “Eighteen Bends’”, the carvings of the Jufeng Mountain Gate, and the Taoist Bagua Gate. The inscriptions on the high cliffs and the pavilions are representations of expressions to the cultural heritage of Mt. Lao, triggering a grandeur of enlightenment and wisdom.
