Laiwu Battle Memorial Hall

The Battle of Laiwu was a large-scale military campaign conducted by the Chinese People’s Liberation Army in Shandong in February 1947. The battle lasted for 63 hours and covered an area of 13 counties. The Battle of Laiwu was led by General Chenyi, who later became China’s first Minister of Foreign Affairs after the founding of the People’s Republic of China in 1949.
