A park has been designed here in Zibo after the popular novel “The Strange Tales of Liao Zhai” written by Pu Songling (1640-1715). Pu has been proudly praised by the Chinese people and is commonly known as the “king” of short stories globally. Unofficially called a writer, Pu writes his stories from the various observations of his surroundings at his favorite tea house.
Mark your calendars for the next annual Liaozhai Festival (Lantern Festival) that takes place Jan 31 – Feb 28. Plan your trip for this next time. You will learn of his mark made here.
