Mount Tai Feng Shan Grand Ceremony
The Mount Tai Feng Shan Grand Ceremony highlights how emperors from five dynasties, namely the Qin, Han, Tang, Song, and Qing (221BC – 1912AD) worship heaven and earth at the very location that you stand. The show also tells the historical story of the rise and fall of China as a nation and a culture. It replays lifestyles of people, from the five dynasties, encompassing spectrums of political life, social, cultural themes.
Although Mt. Tai Feng Shan Grand Ceremony is a full commercial performance, it is sure to surprise you each time you watch it. Performances are daily, except for days with weather interruption. The show uses the 180 degree wide-view of the natural landscape as background, starting from early civilization of ancient chaos during the prehistoric era into the merge of ethnic groups during the Qing Dynasty (1636-1912). The performance usually starts at 8pm lasting for about 1.5hr. The night can get chilly, so be sure to bring an extra blanket or layers to enjoy the show comfortably.
