A traditional snack in Jinan that was first made during the Qing Dynasty. The oil spin is a whirl-shaped oily onion cake with the onions spread out making it so fragrant. The outside part is crisp and soft. During the process of making, oil is needed to add to the dough at least 7 times after each roll to create the delicious taste.
